Insect Walk Saturday, 5/14 from 1:00 – 3:00

Leader: Moya Kinnealey, PA Master Naturalist
Learn to appreciate our beneficial insect neighbors including pollinators, decomposers and social insects. Insects are essential for the health of our environment and provide nourishment, homes and habitats for other animals including humans. Discuss how to guard against the destruction of this valuable resource. Please wear covered shoes,
long sleeve shirts, long pants and hat and bring water. Feel free to bring a magnifying glass.

Register for the walk at loveyourpark.org. Meet at Wayne Ave & Sedgwick St entrance to Carpenter’s Woods.
