Invasive Plant Removal Day April 11

Please join Friends of Carpenter’s Woods and our terrific leader, Louise Hayes, next Saturday, April 11, in Carpenter’s Woods for a morning removing invasive plants. We’ll be taking out garlic mustard, English ivy, Japanese knotweed, and any other obviously invasive vines from 9 AM to Noon.

Meet at the Wayne Avenue bus stop entrance. Gloves and tools will be provided.

Dress for the weather.
Bring a bottle of water.

Please be aware, poison ivy and ticks may be present anywhere in the woods.
Due to the recent rains and melting snow, some areas may be muddy.
Long sleeves, long pants, sturdy shoes, and insect repellent are strongly advised.
